MWANDAMO - MEANING LUNAR IN KISWAHILI
The Mwandamo logo features a large "M" for Mwandamo with a smaller "W" inside, for Women. The two outer peaks of the "M" represent Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, while the central peak of the "W" signifies Arusha, our home nestled between these mountains. The design also resembles a crown, honouring women as queens, and incorporates the ancient Berkana Rune, a symbol associated with birth, fertility, and femininity.
